Off road success for BTB
BTB have recently entered a new sphere of off road Motorsport. Supplying a leading competitor with exhausts for his hill rally machine, the manifolds had to be fabricated to fit a 3.5 litre V8 engine which is mid mounted in a highly modified Land Rover chassis. The manifolds were routed into two of BTB's lightweight repackable silencers to comply with strict Hill Rally noise limits. After some fuel remapping the new combination proved very competitive, beating many much more powerful 5 litre cars, whilst retaining the flexibility of the near standard 3.5 litre engine.
