BTB at Autosport Engineering 2017

BTB is exhibiting again at the Autosport Engineering Show in 2017 following a period of continual

investment in its facilities in order to offer customers a greater range of manufacturing capabilities.

Along with new in house CNC turning and milling, BTB have also added a new Romer Coordinate

Measuring Machine to their inspection department to match the demand for accurate capture of

three dimensional geometry and verification of finished parts to CAD data. Managing Director Joe

Ellis explains the importance of the Autosport Show to their business plans:-

“Autosport Engineering always gives us the opportunity to display our capabilities and products to

the Motorsport Industry and we’re used to half of new enquiries at the show being from Europe and

beyond. This year is particularly exciting for us as we embark on a 5 year plan of structured growth.

Our expansion plans coincide with great opportunities for us as this country is now recognised as a

manufacturing centre of excellence and with the devaluing of the pound we are increasingly

competitive in export markets. We are also seeing an increasing number of UK customers looking to

onshore their supply chain, due to increasing costs of imported goods. We can’t wait for 2017 to

start!”
