The Art of Noise
BTB are using the latest available analysis software to break noise down into specific dominant frequencies, which can then be attenuated by precisely targeted elements within the exhaust system. This means that the overall size, mass and back pressure of the system can be minimised thereby maximising the performance potential of the vehicle. BTB’s Managing Director Joe Ellis comments, “The new software is enabling us to understand the content and quality of the noise rather than just the quantity, we can also isolate other sources of unwelcome noise such as that from superchargers or cam gears and advise as to their effect on the overall sound level.”
